Here's our story...

Jon and Heather were looking to move back home to Carrollton from St. Peter, Minnesota to ‘retire’ when their Dad, Jim Houseworth, called about a recent conversation he happened to have regarding their favorite ice cream! This is the place that Heather grew up coming to with family and she and Jon brought their kids to create special memories every time they came home to Carrollton. They knew they wanted to be a part of this sacred place and help continue the time-honored tradition of the best ice cream on the planet! So, they jumped in - feet first and moved back home! Coming from a large Houseworth family, Jon and Heather understand the importance of sharing a meal together. They have poured everything they do into honoring this iconic tradition. Creating a space to gather, laugh, to share a hug and a delicious meal and make memories is the heart of what we do every day.

In 2025 we will celebrate 75 years of serving the best ice cream on the planet and our world-famous Beef Burger! We hope you’ll stay tuned to join us for all the exciting celebrations to come!
